Currently planing to fit some 9-LED side repeaters as my main front indicators on the Fug (plus a set as side repeaters as well). They're far more visible that what's on there at the moment, but I'm trying to get my head round whether they'll pass a MOT or not.

From looking at the regs here : http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_150.htm I don't think I need e-marked lenses as it's a pre 1986 car. Any comments??

Failing that I have some e-marked lenses that I could fir over the LED's for the duration of the test - but if not needed it'll be better.

think you'll be fine, i passed with tiny bike led ones on the front only about 15cm off the ground.

I agree, so many bikes and cars have them now they can't be a problem, even noticed them on lorries and trucks. Think I might put some on mine at some point.
