I just noticed that some car clubs are setting up their own YouTube style video sites. For example there is www.lotustube.com I have just stumbled on while about to buy a Lotus DVD (well actually, suggest someone else buy me it for Christmas), and there are similar ones for Porsche and TVR.

I don't know enough about computers so was just wondering if these are expensive to set up or are whether it is just some sort of widget that collects links to relevant YouTube videos people have already uploaded and groups them all together in one place.

Plenty of scripts out there to do it, search "PHP Video sharing script" or have a peek somewhere like www.phpmotion.com, then again they'd need better hosting than we currently have.

Personally can't see there's enough demand for it. Sticking a video on YouTube and a link under the gallery section seems to achieve similar easier.

Then again I thought a forum wouldn't get used so what do I know :P
