Steve - Since you have posted your first wanted request, there have been plenty of fugs in the for sale section and on e-bay.........there are plenty out there.......and all at sensible prices.........the sun is shining, before you know it you will miss the boat and be driving it in the snow ;-)

Knighty,
Fair point, but I'm a fussy sod and will pay good money for the right car for me. I also not in a position to travel to the ends of the earth, unlike our Viking friend. I would have had a good look at the one that he tried, but missed out by several hours !!
You've probably seen the latest on on e-bay in Chessington. The fella has adjusted the chassis/rollcage and I think it spoils the look of the car. Bloody shame really as the ad reads okay.
If I have to wait, then wait it will be...
I am thinking of going to the darkside and getting a VW Beach Buggy....depends on what turns up first.
I'm planning on going to the VW show on 31 Jul, so we'll meet up then.
Cheers,
Steve

fair point, I'm a fussy sod too........I wanted a road going fug-4 on a Q-plate, and nothing else........ I paid £3,000 for my fug-4 last november, looking at the prices on E-bay I cant help thinking I paid over the odds by about a grand........but I would rather pay what I paid rather than get involved in SVA testing - f&*k that!......am now having great fun blasting around in the summer sun.........my best advice is to keep an eye out in the kit car magazines classified sections in WHSmiths, thats where I found my fug-4 B)
hopefully we shall meet up at volks fest next month, and I'll take you out for a blast in the fug-4
please dont infect this wonderful web-site forum with filthy talk of buying a beach buggy  ......go and wash your mouth out with soapy water........before you know it you will be moving house to brighton, drinking blue gin and hanging out in the wrong sort of bars if you know what I mean :ph43r:

Knighty,
What you doing over next few days, I'm only a few miles north of Chelmsford, so If it's okay with your good-self, can I come over an have a butchers at your fug ?
It probably settle the fug/buggy/forget it and walk way issue.
I did try and speak with Mr Munster, who's only 10 miles away in Stansted, but to no avail.....
Cheers,
Steve

Have you investigated these people that do car transport? I had my fug moved in a half-built state a few years ago when I moved house and it turned out quite reasonable.

Hasn't got the same kick as the pink and would be 'too much' (in terms of pinkness) in the kind of bars Knighty alludes to. :P
