The bonnet area is now cleared for fuel tank to be relocated.

The junk removed from the bonnet area.

A electric washer pump now replaces old VW system air from spare tyre.

Some change to the dash out goes the old speedo and seperate fuel guage.

needs complete rework not ergonomic

Engine work twin carbs electronic ignition petronix coil and leads (super fat spark)

MOT passed just a few odds and ends like fan belt guard and some suspension bits added.
Gas KYBs for the rear.
Alternator tested ready for install.
alot of stuff is wating on welder at the moment.
to pass the time slowly stripping and degunking frame and engine bits

next update due 30-09-06
Been busy on other things. but rear wings to go to replace ugly steel ones.
Later Steering column. VW handbrake
Dash re-design.

just seen your car in a rather disassembled state with no top roll cage dash pedals tank pedals seats etc

what you doing to it rebuild?

It seems you have a new cage, dash and steering rack but no petrol tank floor or pedals ?
I like the rear hoop cross members

Just an update

It did final get the tubes sorted but due to work commitments time and storage problems etc I finally sold her.

I belive the chap who bought it was going to put a bike engine.

He did promise some pictures nothing yet though.

That's a shame, but sometimes it really is for the best. You can always get another one, but you can't always have the one you've already got. Think that makes sense.
