Hi all
I would be pleased about an archives full of our Fugitives with a few tech facts and one or two pics! In the forums or fugitive.co.uk. Sometimes it could be useful to keep THEM alive. And our curiosity! :)
What about you?
Cheers
Hi Tom
I could not agree more.
It would undoubtedly be a very valuable asset for all of us Fug owners (heh I have only been one of those for a day or so, but have been a fan since the mid 80ies).
I do think though, that it might be a smart idea to keep that kind of a an archive seperate from the forum. Reasoning being that the forum might crash etc.
Another reason to keep it seperate from the forum is that the pictures in the forum needs to be on offsite picture posting sites, and also a lot of people find it hard to post pics this way etc.
I will see if I can find a solution or at least come up with some ideas :)
Cheers
Tom (yes Viking is not my real name :P)
Hi All,
I'm quite happy to host any archive stuff like this on the main
www.fugitives.co.uk site.
It may take me a while sometimes meaning this forum is better suited for faster moving stuff such as discussions and the classifieds, but let me know what you've got that you'd like to see on the main site and I'll see what I can do.
Cheers
Paul.
My suggestion is:
-Owner name ( nickname from the forums)
-1 or 2 pics
-a short data sheet
then a few voluntary informations
-town or area (nationality, if non UK)
-time owning a/the fug
-can help or giving tipps for what
-where car can be seen (frequently visited shows or meetings)
I think thats not all, but for the moment I close here.
Cheers
Something else that might be cool to add to the main site would be copies of the old fugitive club newsletters.
I presume that they were word processed originally so wouldn't be hard to add - either as html pages or word or pdf downloads.
