Title: Hello

Hello, just registered on this forum after watching it's slow start over the last month or so.
Just a quick run down on the Fug I play with which actually belongs to my good buddie and partner in crime....We are in the middle of an IRS conversion as this was one weakness we identified from our previous off roader. Then we have a 139hp golf 16v motor ready to hang off the back of the bus box. Should be entertaining !
We are looking for a front bumper for it and also would like to know if the from shock tower extensions are std UVA build, (see our web site for images, www.dkpoffroad.co.uk )

hello - to my knowledge the extended shock towers on your fug-2 are not standard UVA.....more of an extreeme off road requirement due to huge wheel travel.

I have recently removed the front bumper from my fug-4 and am looking for a new home for it.......its a UVA item, painted black with no heavy rust, yours for £40......I'm based in Essex, about 10 minutes from the dartford tunnel

let me know if your interested and I could take some pics of it for you

ps - have you seen the blind chicken web site?......it details the IRS conversion very well

cheers

Check thi site out:-

http://www.blindchickenracing.com/

within their "how to" section they show you how to convert a swing-axle to IRS....not for the feint hearted!

These guys also sell extended IRS trailing arm suspension units......for that realy mental off-road high-riding wide track IRS fug that you are all planning!
