Title: Master Cylinder

wreckersinternational - September 19, 2007 07:07 PM (GMT)
Hi, Can anyone suggest a suitable master cylinder with an integral fluid resevior? I have to replace the Beetle one fitted at present and would like to get rid of the horrible bodged bracket that holds the resevior.

I've fitted a couple of girling ones to mine. Try Merlin Motorsport' s website for some ideas B)

Rally designs in Kent is also worth a go,prices and delivery time really are exceptional. There also worth a look for quite a lot of other stuff as well.

Hi Tigger, when you say a couple of girling ones are you running a hydraulic clutch as well?

Hi,

No, I am running two brake cylinders one for the front and one for the back, with a bais bar to the pedal. The Fug is inherently light on the front so bias'ing the brakes to the rear helps stop the front locking up under heavy braking :P
