Im in Leicestershire. Can't belive the spread around the country and how how few cars there are. we could have a location map with members name and a car image.

FUGITIVE WAS ENTERED INTO THEIR COMPUTER ONLY TWO OTHER CARS CAME UP AS BEING TESTED AT THAT TIME-APRIL 07,THERE WERE NO OTHER DETAILS APART FROM THE M.O.T. STATION NUMBERS,I JUST WONDER HOW MANY FUGS ARE OUT THERE,I KNOW OF THREE AT PRESENT,NONE FOR SALE THOUGH,ONE IS FUG 2 IN A LOCAL BREAKERS YARD,ONE IS A FUG TWO IN YELLOW THAT HAS BEEN CRASHED,AND THE THIRD IS A ROLLING FRAME,C/W VW MOTOR,NOT SURE WHAT TYPE,IN DURHAM.LETS HAVE A MAP WITH DOTS ON,COOL.

The best way of saving all this info at the moment would be for people to update it in their forum profiles.

Nice maps are relatively easy to sort see : Fugitive Map
With a bit of work a lot of the "fluff" can be removed and just the pure map embedded in the website.

The main problem I see with adding something like this to the website is that it for most of these mapping systems it would need people to send me the info to add. Lets just say I haven't been exactly inundated with pics/words from people for the members car pages over the years ;-)

Secondary problem is that with the current state of the website you can't link directly to an individual car in the members car section without losing the navigation menu. This would have been one of the things done as part of the revamp.

p.s. If anyone knows of a map site that lets users add the markers including images and links and without needing to register on a 3rd party site then let me know. Couldn't find any I'd be willing to use - This would avoid some of the first issue.
