Hi there im new here after seeing a few UVA's on ebay iv thought id might like one.
I dont want to have to get it through a SVA so it must have a Q registration. Ideally id like one that needs work doing to it and really dont mind how old, im mechanically minded so no work is too much! Anyone got anything???

You don't necessarily need to go for a Q plate. As long as the car was built prior to the introduction of SVA and has been correctly registered you won't have to have it SVA'd.

Mine's on a non Q plate but registered with the DVLA as a "UVA VW FUGITIVE KITCAR" .

As long as you ensure it's not registered as the original donor car you should be fine.

If I was after one I think I would have a go at shortening Squirrels, it can't be that difficult, and I think that fug deserves it!

Hi and welcome. Mine's registered as a Fugitive and not on a 'Q' plate, same as Paul's. I didn't want a 'Q' as I wanted to put a personal plate on it, not that I actually have. I also gree that shortening Squirrel's limo would make for a really good Fug, it really wouldn't be anymore than a weekend to do it either. I've also got a full set of undamaged body panels if you went that route.

must admit if i was going to hang onto mine i would take it back to the standard fug 4 length. got someone interested in it but they just want it for there son as a field car. that would be a shame for that to happen to it.

that was it, i just missed out though. I dont have enough money for the limo unfortunatly :(

have you seen it on e-bay? alot cheeper than the asking price at the moment.
