Title: indicator cancelling

I have had this really annoying problem with my fug ever since I bought it 4 years ago but have never got round to fixing it......I have a mountney steering wheel bos fitted........it has the cancellation tab poking out, but its a mile away from the steering column spring/switch which cancells the indicator after you have turned the corner.......I had a look through the haynes manual and the standard item looks like a simple flange with a six bolt pattern, does this need to be fited to the monntney boss?.........or do I just have the wrong boss?........I will remove the boss later for a closer inspection, as I'm sure its just something simple.

any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated :D

correct you should have some holes thread on your boss to take the flange.

Mine had three I think it was.

I had quite a job locating one.

thanks cal, just got a new one from Mega bug, stripped out my old one and its exactly the same as the new one.......fook  ........turns out all I needed to do was put some washers behind the ring and heypresto, the cam now engages with the catch and my indicators now cancel a treat......so I now have an indicator cancelling cam to keep my clutch happy......I didnt need that either!
