Hi Chris,

I see you have changed those rear indicators...looks much better B)

Guys, this Fug is stunning, you need to see it in the flesh to really appreciate it :P

Chris,

Thanks for the pic. Did you buy it with the double wishbone set up or is that something you've added? Any info would be gratefully received as I am looking to do the same to my Fug 4.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the offer. What I'm after are pics of the positions of the wishbones where they attach to the frame, the front hubs and also any info on where the wishbones might be obtained/donor vehicle. I've looked at all the Caterham 7 lookalikes but I think their wishbones might be too short.

Cheers

Paul.

Thanks for posting the pickies.
I've been keen to double wishbone the front of mine.
I imagine you'd save a hell of a lot of weight.

Am I right in thinking that they are beetle hubs, (and ball joints?) by the speedo cable coming out the middle.

I've scoured the internet to try and find pics of a double wishboned Fug. Never found any though!

They are Beetle uprights, this is the car I owned years and years ago, there's a couple of pics of it in my ownership on the suspension thread in the tech section. Where is it now? I may be getting another and would be interested in having another look at my old one. Cheers Andy.
