My friend Jim & I shared the driving (all photos taken while Jim was behind the wheel) and we had an absolute blast!
I bought the car very recently - it was advertised on here and I just couldn't resist. When I got it, the car didn't steer at all - you couldn't even turn the steering when the wheels were off the ground! I have spent the last few weeks rebuilding the front beam & suspension (inc. replacement trailing arms & ball joints) revising the steering column and getting it all working properly.
I have also got the carbs running properly - Jim and another friend kindly stripped the carbs down and rebuilt them because they were so clogged with crap! It drives SO much better now that they are properly set-up :D
In October I'm taking it around Ireland for a few weeks then shortly after it'll be coming off the road for a full strip-down and rebuild to get the car to 'my' standard along with a whole load of tweaks and modifications.
The car will look 'similar' to how it is now, but 99% of it will have been rebuilt & modified by the time I finish with it. Happy days.

Now that's how a Fug should look, love the burger king pic, going to do a pic of mine in the same style I think. Also love the "token" mudguards. All in all, it's really nice.
